Best burger on the planet.  Their baked vegetables are delicious.  And the owner and the staff are awesome.  All good people.

    I highly recommend this place.

I've been here twice.  The first time left a decent impression because the food was truly special.  The bangers and mash were the best I've ever had. It was a bit pricey for 14  bucks,  but the quality was worth it.

Both times, i had to wait forever for someone to help me at the bar.

The second time i tried to come here for dinner,  i waited forever at the bar for someone to even acknowledge me or tell me they'll be with me in a minute. This time,  i couldn't get anyone's attention to clean off a table  or put in an order.  They were telling others that it would be an hour long wait for the food.  My guess was if it was going to take this long to even get anyone's attention,  it would be longer than an hour for the food.  An hour is ridiculous to wait for food.

To add insult to injury,  i checked the menu and saw the price had gone up 5 dollars since I'd been here last!!! It was over priced then and it is  outrageous now. Unless you're here to drink,  no one will pay a modicum of attention to you.

    Service: poor
    Pricing: high

    Won't return.

Quality beer, great environment and good people! Smithwicks is the best! They have live bands Friday nights. A must check out if you are from or around the neighborhood

Cool Irish pub in Pasadena. Had been here once randomly on a very awkward date - we came in to sit and chat but didn't order anything. But staff was really friendly and accommodating. Came back here recently for drinks with some coworkers - one of which knew the owner and waiter/bartender.  Guess its a family owned pub, which is cool! I ordered a Magners which is a great cider I remembered having and loving while studying abroad in Dublin. We then had a round of Irish Car Bombs which I haven't had in forever! I probably didn't down it fast enough because it started to congeal, lol. Still it was good and got the buzz going. A musician was playing and he sang an eclectic mix of rock and country, which I enjoyed.  Overall a very cool spot to chill, have drinks and listen to music. Staff is super friendly and drinks are great!

I have now tried the food and they still rate 5 stars. The pub burger with swiss cheese and bacon is reasonably priced, decently made and tastily good. Even more noteworthy though is their potato wedges,  which were cooked to the point that they were soft. I mean 99 times out of 100 they are undercooked and hard so to find a place that transforms them into something delicious is amazing indeed.

I'm a Sunday and or Monday person though, so take warning...
